My love for cooking began at just 13 years old, when my mother asked me to make rice and peas. What started as a simple moment in the kitchen became the beginning of a lifelong passion for creating memorable meals.
Over the years, that passion grew into Island Girl Spice Kitchen LLC, a culinary business built on bold flavors, creativity, and the belief that food should be just as memorable as the occasion it celebrates.
Today, I bring that passion to life through event catering, personalized private chef experiences, and handcrafted cakes and desserts. From intimate celebrations to events serving up to 100 guests, every menu is created with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
While my Caribbean roots inspire my cooking, my culinary abilities extend far beyond one cuisine. I take pride in creating diverse, customized menus that reflect each client’s tastes, traditions, and vision.
For me, cooking is more than preparing a meal. It’s about bringing people together, celebrating life’s special moments, and creating experiences that guests will remember long after the last bite.

Booking & Payment Policy
Your Date. Our Commitment.
Each event is thoughtfully planned and prepared. To reserve your date, we require a signed service agreement and a 50% booking retainer.
- 50% at booking: A signed agreement and booking retainer are required to secure your event date.
- Final balance: The remaining 50% is due seven days before the event.
- Last-minute bookings: Events booked within seven days require payment in full at confirmation.
- Dates are not held until the agreement is signed and required payment has cleared.
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are detailed in your service agreement. Booking retainers are subject to those terms and applicable law. Quotes are customized based on menu, guest count, service needs, and location.
